Join the Global RoboCupJunior Team in Incheon, South Korea

RoboCupJunior is looking for passionate volunteers from around the world to help deliver the RoboCup 2026 competition in Incheon, South Korea (30β6 July 2026).
Each year, RoboCupJunior brings together hundreds of students, educators, researchers, and robotics enthusiasts from across the globe. Volunteers play a vital role in making the competition possible, supporting teams and helping deliver an inspiring international robotics event.
Whether you are a returning RoboCupJunior volunteer or joining us for the first time, we would love to welcome you to the team.

Why Volunteer?
Volunteering at RoboCupJunior is a unique opportunity to be part of the worldβs largest robotics competition. Volunteers often say that RoboCupJunior is one of the most rewarding events they have ever been involved with.
As a volunteer you will:
- Help deliver an international robotics competition for students from around the world
- Support teams and contribute to a positive competition experience

Volunteer Roles
We welcome volunteers with a wide range of skills and experience.
Possible roles include:
- Competition field assistants
- Technical support for RoboCupJunior leagues
- Judging and scoring support
- Team and mentor support
- Event logistics and coordination
- Setup and pack-down assistance
Training will be provided for technical volunteer roles where required.
Volunteer Selection Process
Volunteers will be selected through the RoboCupJunior volunteer application system.
Please note the following:
- Priority is given to volunteers who are available for the entire event
- Completing the application does not guarantee selection
- Applicants may be contacted by league committees for further information
If you are new to the international RoboCupJunior community and applying for a technical role, we recommend contacting your regional representative to let them know you are interested.
Final confirmations will be sent by email once the volunteer team has been selected.
Volunteer Support
While volunteers are responsible for their own travel arrangements, RoboCupJunior will provide several forms of support.
Confirmed volunteers will receive:
- ποΈ Free registration to RoboCup 2026, including access to the RoboCup Symposium
- π Training for RoboCupJunior volunteer roles
- π€ Opportunities to network with researchers, teams, and volunteers from around the world
Volunteers are responsible for covering their own travel costs, including flights and local transport. Please note that accommodation availability is still being confirmed. If you plan to volunteer, we recommend booking refundable accommodation until you receive confirmation.

Volunteers are strongly encouraged to be available for the entire event period.
