MATLAB & Simulink for RoboCupJunior

MathWorks supports RoboCupJunior by providing free access to MATLAB, Simulink, and key robotics toolboxes for all registered teams. These tools help students design, test, and deploy robot algorithms on affordable platforms such as Arduino, LEGO MINDSTORMS, and Raspberry Pi.

With MATLAB & Simulink, teams can:

  • Develop and test algorithms in simulation before running them on real robots.
  • Use ready-made examples for Soccer, Rescue, and OnStage challenges.
  • Automatically generate and deploy code to their chosen hardware.
  • Access self-paced tutorials and technical support from MathWorks engineers throughout the season.

How to access your licence:

  • A team mentor or student fills out the Student Competition Software Request Form (linked on the MathWorks RoboCupJunior page).
  • Your team receives download instructions and licence keys within a few days.
  • Start using MATLAB & Simulink to take your ideas from concept to competition.
